Where does Rawaq work?

In Riyadh. Anywhere else, the app opens on “Rawaq isn’t in your area yet.” — tap Plan a Riyadh trip to plan between two places in Riyadh (the start is a saved place or one you pick; “Your location” comes back once you’re in Riyadh), or See how it works to try it on an example evening.

Why does Rawaq need my location?

Plans start from where you are, or, outside Riyadh, from a Riyadh place you choose. With While Using the App, Rawaq plans your trips and records a drive when you set off on a journey you have just looked up. With Always, it also records your other drives, to learn your usual trips. There is nothing to press: recording is automatic. Change it any time in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Rawaq.

How do I delete my data?

In Rawaq, open Settings → Delete everything. It erases your data from our servers and your phone at once. Deleting the app alone doesn’t erase what our servers hold. The privacy policy has the details.

How many free checks do I get?

You start with free checks, and after those a number of free checks comes back every week. How many you have left is written under the options on the main screen and in Settings → Subscription. With Rawaq Plus, checks are unlimited.

How does the Rawaq Plus free trial work?

The first 7 days are free for new subscribers. After that the subscription starts at the price you chose, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. If you cancel, you carry on with your free checks.

How do I restore or cancel Rawaq Plus?

On a new iPhone, Rawaq finds your subscription by itself when you open it, as long as you are signed in with the same Apple account. If it doesn’t: in Rawaq, Settings → Subscription → Restore purchases. To cancel: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Apple handles the payment and the subscription.

Where is my install ID?

Settings → About → Install ID. Include it when you write to us about your data: Rawaq has no accounts, so the install ID is how we find yours.
